What We Believe

RUF brings to the campus a heart for God, a mind for truth, a love for students, and convictions that are well formed, deeply held, and allow us to bring a fully-orbed ministry to students.  As a ministry, we do not seek to be novel, but rather faithful to the Chrisian faith as taught by Jesus Christ and His Church throughout the ages.   That is why we have these strong commitments.

  • AUTHORITY
We believe in the full authority, inspiration, and inerrancy of the Bible.  The Scriptures, being the only
infallible rule of faith and practice, guide us in our thoughts, words, and deeds.  We also hold to the
sufficiency of the Bible, that all we need to know for life and godliness is found in it.

  • NECESSITY
We believe in the necessity of new life through a relationship with Jesus Christ.  Only those belonging to
Christ and resting in Him alone for their salvation have any hope for this life and the next.

  • TASK
The task of the Church is to be "gathering and perfecting the saints."  That is to evangelize the nations,
and to strengthen the faith and life of Christinas through the means by which God has appointed.
